SAN DIEGO HIGH SCHOOL ADMINIST. BUILDING

Building 100 modernization is parallel project of the San Diego High School Site Assessment and Modernization project. Building 100 is a 40,000 s.f. circa 1970’s classroom/administration building that is does not meet current learning performance requirements or provide an appropriate image for the campus. The modernization project re-envisions the building as a welcoming ‘gateway’ for the school and redesigned to provide flexible classrooms and common study areas for students.

The team provided a feasibility analysis that compared modernization versus replacement costs, including accessibility and seismic analysis. Included in the project is new upgraded building HVAC and technology systems and an upgraded photo-voltaic array.
